Pioneers Defeat Bulldogs and Earn a Conference Road Win

The Harrodsburg Pioneers traveled to Boyce last night to take on the Bulldogs. The Pioneers had a chance to pick up another conference win after defeating the number 3 team in the country. The Bulldogs tried to catch the Pioneers sleeping after the big win. 

However, the Pioneers came in ready to play and left Boyce with a big conference win. The Pioneers won the game behind a big performance from the Louisville native Tyron Duncan who had 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists on the game and his most complete game in his return to his home city. Jamal Weaver and Shadarno Clarke also had double figures when they both scored 21 points 

The Pioneers came up big on the defensive end of the ball forcing the Bulldogs to 23 turnovers on the game scoring 32 points off of those turnovers. The Pioneers would find a way to get to the line 34 times making 23 of their 34 attempts. 

Up next for the Pioneers is a big home game this coming week when the Pioneers host the Grace Christian Tigers who are currently ranked number 2 in the nation. Grace who is the reigning national champion in the NCCAA. The Mid-East showdown will be at 7pm Friday February 7th
