The Campbellsville University Harrodsburg Pioneers improve their record to 5-4 with an 86-76 overtime win vs Berea College Mountaineers. The Pioneers who are on a 4-game winning streak with 2 of the 4 games against the Mountaineers.
The Pioneers were led in points by
Tyron Duncan who scored 21 points, grabbing 5 boards, and dishing out 6 assists in the game including his late game heroics a three pointer that would give the Pioneers a 1-point lead late in the game.
Failing to hit free-throws led the Pioneers to go into overtime. However, the Pioneers came out with intensity to win the game in overtime.
Chris Rawlins would score 20 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Kerion Douglas with 19 points and 5 rebounds.
The Pioneers will travel to Oakland City this Thursday to take on the Mighty Oaks before returning home to face Bob Jones on 12/10 and Alice Lloyd on 12/14. Pioneers will end the semester with an exhibition against NCAA Division 1 and HBCU at Tennessee State on 12/21.
