Coach Jones comes to Campbellsville University Harrodsburg with several years of coaching experience at various levels. He was most recently the Women's assistant and recruiting coordinator at Midway University. Before his time there, he was the goalkeeper coach and an assistant with the Women's program at Asbury University. His coaching experience also includes 10 years at the high school level and almost 15 years at the club level coaching both boys and girls. He is currently coaching club soccer with Lexington Sporting Club and on the Kentucky Olympic Development team staff. Coach Jones is a continuing education coach that is currently studying to earn his Bachelor of Science majoring in Coaching and Sports Leadership. He holds a United States Soccer Federation national C License and United Soccer Coaches Level I, II, and III Goalkeeping diplomas. He lives in Lexington with his wife and they have a daughter that is 28 and she lives in Versailles.
Coach Jones says that his philosophy is, "I have a players first mentality and strive to make all of my decisions for their best success. I am grateful to lead these young men and hope to have a long lasting and positive impact on their academic and athletic journeys. I want to create a culture that is based on the core values of character, leadership, accountability and one that also challenges us physically and mentally. It is my responsibility to create an environment that fosters this type of development."
