Woods 1,000 Point Leads Pioneers to Win over Bob Jones

The Pioneers Lady Basketball team defeated Bob Jones University tonight 70-56 behind Oriona Woods historic night. 
 
Woods whose three pointer 2 minutes into the game would lead her to become the first ever 1,000-point scorer in CU-Harrodsburg history. She entered the game just 5 points away from the mark. 
 
Woods was given the game ball that allowed her to hit the milestone. The three pointer gave the Pioneers an 8=0 advantage and they didn't look back. 
 
Pioneers pick up a much-needed win to improve to 2-9 on the season heading into thanksgiving break. 
 
Next up for the Lady Pioneers Bryant and Stratton will come to town November 28th for a 3pm tip-off.
