Lady Pioneers fall to Lady Bearcats

The Lady Pioneers women's basketball team fail to the hands of the Brescia Lady Bearcats tonight by the final score of 65-62. 

The bright spot of the game was Jaiden Douthit who led all scorers with 17 points also led the game in steals with 3. The Lady Pioneers also had Oriona Woods who was leading the team in scoring coming into the game score 15 points and 7 rebounds and 2 steals. 

The Lady Pioneers led for most of the game, but the third quarter saw the Lady Bearcats take control of the game outscoring the Lady Pioneers 22-15. The Lady Bearcats will improve to 1-1 on the season while the Lady Pioneers will fall to 1-3 on the season after starting 1-0. 

The Lady Pioneers will have another classic this weekend when they travel to Illinois to take on Trinity International Trojans and Trinity Christian Trolls.
