Box Score The Pioneers men's soccer team traveled to Berea College to take on the Mountaineers last night. 
The Pioneers hoped to avenge the 5-0 loss in a scrimmage on their home turf earlier in the season. The Pioneers would jump out to a 3-0 lead. Which would see two goals by Brandon Ballard and a penalty kick by Mark Haselden. 
Berea wouldn't go away without a fight as they would come out in the second half and score a couple goals to cut the deficit to just a goal. 
However, the Pioneers defense would step up to the call and keep the Mountaineers out of the goal. The Mountaineers would fight up until the final possession would fall short. 
The Pioneers would go on the road and get a big upset win over NCAA Division 3 Berea College led by senior captain Brandon Ballard who had two goals. 
The Pioneers will be back in action next Friday October 8^th, at 4PM for Senior Day against Crown College.
